Career history in Denmark

2002 to present: Chairman for Danish Music Consort (DaMuCo), Ebeltoft, Denmark

 

2002 to present: Guest-Conductor for Jutland Opera Chorus

 

2000 to 2012: Artistic Director and Conductor, Tonica Harmony Wind Orchestra. Founded in 1940. 75 members orchestra, performing classical repertoire, together with more entertaining music from ballets and musicals. A CD-recording is available.

 

1999 to present: Artistic Director and Conductor, Caecilia Mixed Choir

55 members mixed choir, performing a cappella music and larger oratorial works from different periods and styles, often co-operated with professional orchestras as Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.

 

1993 to present: Founder, Artistic Director and Conductor, Sedjanka Female Choir, Aarhus. A 25 members Female Choir, specialized in singing Bulgarian Folk Music in the style of “Le Mystere des Voix Bulgare” Choir from Radio Sofia.

 

1992 to present: Artistic Director and Conductor, Collegium Vocale.

This 17 member mixed choir (composed of professional musicians, ages: 25-42) toured in competitions Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Japan (second prize).  A live recording is available.

 

1992 – 1999 : Artistic Director and Conductor, Denmark University Male Choir – Aarhus.  This 45 member male choir (ages: 19-53) toured in Great Britain, Sweden, Holland, Italy and Eastern Europe.  A CD recording of “Musica Sacra” is available.

 

2014 to present: Founder, Artistic Director and Conductor Perunika - Stockholm Vocal Ensemble

2002: Zwickau, Germany - Golden Diplom “Robert Schumann” Choral Competition

1999: Award-winner of the Annual Bulgarian Arts and Culture Prize

Career history in Bulgaria

 

1987-90:  Artistic Director and Conductor, Orpheus Girls Choir.

This 75 member girls choir (ages: 8-18) is one of the top 5 rated national girls choirs in Bulgaria.  It recorded and toured in competitions Poland, France, Ireland, the Soviet Union, Finland, Hungary, Holland and Germany.  A live recording is available.

1986-90:  Artistic Director and Conductor, Haskovo City Chorus.

This 90 member male choir (ages: 25-64) toured in the Eastern Europe.

1982-86:  Part time conductor while studying at the National Music Academy. Singing (Baritone) with The National State Choir and The Radio Mixed Choir.

1979-82:  Music Teacher and Conductor, Haskovo High School.

Taught music classes and conducted its choir for this 765 member high school.
